Why Your Prayer Life Should Mirror the Tabernacle

Why Your Prayer Life Should Mirror the Tabernacle
Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. The Jewish people has according to tradition become stable financially by following certain steps. I believe it is something worth considering. Tithe is the first and most important. The finances we have are not ours, we are managing it for God. Give offerings. Help people who are in need. Help ministries who are proclaiming the Kingdom of God. Save for larger purchases. Invest for future returns. Spend what remains for our necessities.  According to one tradition I read, using our American currency for example, we would use ten $1.00 bills and five jars. The ten dollars represents 100%. We would use cash to make the process simple. Tithe    $1.00   10% Give    $1.00   10% Save    $1.00   10% Invest   $1.00  20% Spend  $1.00  50% It is something we could build up to and start seeing results. I'm not at that place yet, but I'm working to that place.

Types of Biblical Giving

The importance of the Tithe can't be stressed strongly enough. To subdue anything requires that you lay the proper foundation. Tithing is the beginning or the foundation of God's protection of your financial life. Take control of your finances, by being obedient to God's Word. Tithing is done in obedience to God's Word and the obedience creates the blessing in our lives. First Fruits shows that we are putting God first. Proverbs 9:10. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. When you reverence or put God first, it is the beginning of using knowledge correctly. Having understanding causes you to approach God properly and receive from Him that which He chooses to give you, as a result, He is glorified. When you put God first in your finances it shows God you are not in love with money. You will use it for it's intended purpose. Alms Giving is when you don't tell anyone what you are giving. This is done

Prepare and Position Yourself

Prepare and position yourself for what is to come, not dwelling on the past. We need to move forward. Zacheus was one who prepared for what was coming. He was willing to do what no one else would do to see Jesus. He realized his life would change after encountering Jesus and he wouldn't look back to what was to be his former life. Following his example, you must position yourself and be prepared for what the Lord is moving you into. He knows the plans He has for you. Seek him to find out what those plans are so you can FULFILL YOUR DESTINY! Scripture points out in Luke 19:4 NLT So he (Zacheus) ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road, for Jesus was going to pass that way. Zacheus did what he had to do, to be in the right place. What are you doing?

Speaking mysteries

Speaking mysteries is speaking out or verbalizing Tongues or unknown supernatural language. God carries out what we speak because it is His perfect will. We are carrying out God's purpose in our life. Our mind doesn't understand, as a result we can't interfere with what God is desiring to accomplish in us. 1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. Praying in Supernatural language or unknown tongues/languages is building up your Most Holy Faith. Look at Jude 1:20 KJV But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, We have to speak it verbally, just as you do when you are born again/saved. In Romans 10:9 it tells us that we are to confess with our "mouth" referring to saying it out loud. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, so is speaking out mysteries.

Finishing Strong

FINISH YOUR RACE STRONG! Hebrews 12:1-3 NLT Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. You must get rid of every weight that hinders or slows you down. A weight is only useful when you are training, to help you build endurance. You are in the race now, drop the weight and RUN! Training is over! As you read Hebrews 11:1-34 you will find it deals with all of the exploits that took place because of faith. Imagine what we could have if we had thei

Wisdom helps you succeed!

Do we value wisdom. Consider this, Ecclesiastes 10:10 NLT Using a dull ax requires great strength, so sharpen the blade. That’s the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed. If we do not take the time and the care, our mind will be dull. It is important that we take the time to keep our mind engaged and challenged. Read the Word of God primarily to keep your mind active as well as getting the godly wisdom that will naturally take place from reading the Word. Also, I challenge you to read books which challenge you to act with wisdom. Wisdom helps you succeed. Sharpen your mind. Don't allow your mind to be dull. Wisdom helps you succeed!
