Jesus Revealed

Jesus is described as a babe here, a newborn. Here it mentions angels and shepherds, their is no mention of wise men. Luke 2:1-20 NKJV And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the

The Babylonian System is destroyed

The Babylonian System has been destroyed. We are not controlled by it. Jeremiah 50:1-46 NKJV 1 The word that the Lord spoke against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet. 2 “Declare among the nations, Proclaim, and set up a standard; Proclaim—do not conceal it — Say, ‘Babylon is taken, Bel is shamed. Merodach is broken in pieces; Her idols are humiliated, Her images are broken in pieces.’ 3 For out of the north a nation comes up against her, Which shall make her land desolate, And no one shall dwell therein. They shall move, they shall depart, Both man and beast. 4 “In those days and in that time,” says the Lord , “The children of Israel shall come, They and the children of Judah together; With continual weeping they shall come, And seek the Lord their God. 5 They shall ask the way to Zion, With their faces toward it, saying, ‘Come and let us join ourselves to the Lord In a perpetual covenant That will not be forgotten.’ 6 “My people have been lost

Lift your voice

Isaiah 58:1-2 NKJV “Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. 2 Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God. It is important to speak clearly when someone who has confessed a relationship with Christ and has chosen to walk in sin, especially open sin. They need to be encouraged to confess it and turn from it. The Holy Ghost will certainly convict them of walking outside of the covenant they made with the Lord. As we look at verse two, notice that we can benefit ourselves by, 1. Seeking God daily (Prayer Life). 2. Delight to know His ways (Study the Word). 3. Don't forsake God's commands. 4. Take delight in going into God's presence.

We are blessed

Genesis 12:3 NKJV I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” This is the incredible promise God made to Abraham. Since we are born into the kingdom, we have the same wonderful benefit.

We are adopted

Galatians 4:1 "Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, 2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. 4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons." Until we come to maturity, we are all on the same level. We grow to be mature because we are in the Word and we grow in our prayer life. When the time was right in God's sight, we reach maturity. When we reach maturity, we can help those who are weak in their walk. In the anaology presented, when the time was right God sent Jesus to earth to buy us back after Adam sold us out to the devil. Jesus made it possible for us to be adopted into his family. All we have to do is accept Jesus as sav

Four Crazy Friends

Mark 2:1-12 NKJV 1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” 6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, 7 “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘ Your si

Being Persistent In Your Prayer Life

Luke 18:1-8 KJV And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? When you pray, you do not become weak and you do not give up. In verse 2, "Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:" You can see the situation may appear insurmounta

Ask And You Shall Receive

John 16:23-24 NKJV 23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.   24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full." As the scripture states, whatever we ask the Father in the name of Jesus, he will give it to us. This takes place, first of all, because you have relationship with God himself, since you are born again. Considering that you are born again, when you ask anything from the Lord, you have His favor on your life. If you are not asking anything, you should not expect anything. The Lord tells us to ASK! What will happen when you ask? You will receive what you ask, assuming it lines with God's will for your life. What is it's purpose? That your joy may be full. Remember the joy of the Lord is your strength. So, if your joy is full, it means you have great strength to accomplish what God has purposed for you.

God Gave Himself

God Gave Himself It is difficult to fathom that God set up everything for us to come out on top. Consider how God gave Himself as a sacrifice to save us from Himself as our judge. Is it something he had to do? Certainly not! The word of God continually lays out how He has made provision for us to have a relationship with Him. The love of God is displayed for us in an extraordinary way. I don't believe we truly have an understanding of how horribly gruesome the cross really was. The Bible tells us He went through excruciating pain for us. A dictionary definition reads "to excruciate is to cause great agony". I cannot imagine in my wildest thinking what Jesus went through, but to consider that He did it for us is astounding. Hebrews 12:2 NLT We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne

Moving From Provision To Possession

Colossians 1:16 NKJV For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. All of the difficulties which Israel went through was for God fulfilling His purpose in and through them. His ultimate plan was for the Messiah to be in Israel at the proper time. God was delivering Israel, for them to be in their proper place.  For us to fulfill our purpose, we must be in the proper place. If we are not at peace or we are without the amount of income to sustain us or the vision God has given us. We are possibly not at the place of our assignment yet. God will not leave us without having what we need to accomplish our purpose. God will move us from provision to possesion. He will not leave us where we are, but lead us to our destined end. Here is an example we can look at to give us some perspective, Egypt is a symbol of not enough. W

Pure Religion

In years past and in some cases today, you hear people talk about having religion. In their thought process they think that following a religious system is what will allow them entrance into Heaven. As I am sure you know, it is about a relationship with Jesus Christ and accepting his gift of salvation or deliverance from sin. The description of religion biblically is quite different than what you hear from those who are outside of a relationship with Christ. The book of James gives the biblical definition of what true religion truly is. Lets look at: James 1:27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. Notice what James said. Biblical religion is taking care of children without parents and women without a living husband. In some cases, the widows have young children who are in need of care. Scripture refers to their being in distress. They are ones who have needs that ar

Step Into Your Position

Step Into Your Position Exodus 17:5 NLT The Lord said to Moses, “Walk out in front of the people. Take your staff, the one you used when you struck the water of the Nile, and call some of the elders of Israel to join you. When God calls you out from being a part of the crowd, you are now out front. As a result, people look at you differently. You are not one of the guys any longer. You are leading people somewhere. God gives you a vision and you now have a drive in you to accomplish the vision. As a leader, especially those in an Apostolic office, you go before the people and blaze trails that no one has blazed before. You are different as a leader, because failure gives you fuel to keep going until you find where you are destined to be. You do not give up. You have a drive inside you. When you are at the beginning of any new place in ministry, you must remember each is a baby step to reach your destiny. Apostolic is your leading to the unknown. Doors open as you go. When

Tend The Garden

Genesis 2:15-17 15 The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. 16 But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden 17 except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die. Malachi 3:8-11 8 “Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me! “But you ask, ‘What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you?’ “You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. 9 You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me. 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! 11 Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s
