Being Persistent In Your Prayer Life

Luke 18:1-8 KJV And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? When you pray, you do not become weak and you do not give up. Ask And You Shall Receive

John 16:23-24 NKJV 23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.   24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full." As the scripture states, whatever we ask the Father in the name of Jesus, he will give it to us. This takes place, first of all, because you have relationship with God himself, since you are born again. Considering that you are born again, when you ask anything from the Lord, you have His favor on your life. If you are not asking anything, you should not expect anything. The Lord tells us to ASK! What will happen when you ask? You will receive what you ask, assuming it lines with God's will for your life. What is it's purpose? That your joy may be full. Remember the joy of the Lord is your strength. So, if your joy is full, it means you have great strength to accomplish what God has purposed for you.
