Lift your voice

Isaiah 58:1-2 NKJV
“Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. 2 Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.

It is important to speak clearly when someone who has confessed a relationship with Christ and has chosen to walk in sin, especially open sin. They need to be encouraged to confess it and turn from it. The Holy Ghost will certainly convict them of walking outside of the covenant they made with the Lord.
As we look at verse two, notice that we can benefit ourselves by,
1. Seeking God daily (Prayer Life).
2. Delight to know His ways (Study the Word).
3. Don't forsake God's commands.
4. Take delight in going into God's presence.

Purpose

You may not realize it, but our purpose can be found in our gifting. God put inside each of us skills and the desire to fulfill it.  When I was around 5 years of age I discovered how radio worked. At that time I was bitten by the radio bug. I discovered my purpose! When I arrived home that same day, I pulled out the record player, the 8 track tape player (yes, I’m that old) and a screw driver for a microphone. I was determined to have my own radio station (as a 5 year old). That day WNTC was born. A station that could only be heard in my bedroom, but that didn’t matter to me.  I had no idea that it would create a life long obsession! I was privileged to work for 30 years in the radio business. I was later put out to pasture permanently, or so I thought in December 2008. Then in early 2017, I had the privilege to start producing programs at WGTK and later was asked to report news. Follow Your Dreams

All of us have a dream. When we were small children an adult would ask us, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” My generation would answer something like this, “I want to be a policeman, a fireman, an astronaut” I could name so many other career choices. If you are to ask kids from this current generation, you would receive a completely different set of answers. Some of the answers you would possibly get would be,   I want to be a You Tube celebrity, I want to be a blogger, I could continue with so many opportunities that didn’t exist 5 years ago. If a young person has a dream of achieving whatever they desire, the possibilities are fantastic with the advent of technology.
