Purpose

You may not realize it, but our purpose can be found in our gifting. God put inside each of us skills and the desire to fulfill it. 

When I was around 5 years of age I discovered how radio worked. At that time I was bitten by the radio bug. I discovered my purpose! When I arrived home that same day, I pulled out the record player, the 8 track tape player (yes, I’m that old) and a screw driver for a microphone. I was determined to have my own radio station (as a 5 year old). That day WNTC was born. A station that could only be heard in my bedroom, but that didn’t matter to me. 

I had no idea that it would create a life long obsession! I was privileged to work for 30 years in the radio business. I was later put out to pasture permanently, or so I thought in December 2008. Then in early 2017, I had the privilege to start producing programs at WGTK and later was asked to report news. This came about after sitting in with Joey Hudson during his program “Upstate Live”, I was invited to consider doing some production work. As has been stated, the rest is history.

God cares about all of His creation, including those who are not in covenant with Christ, they have purpose inside them, we must realize that it isn’t unlocked because they are not in covenant yet. 

Instead of frustrating yourself with trying to find your purpose, simply start with where you are. Have the thought of, “blooming where you’re planted.” Build your life starting with your foundation and you will start to walk into it if you are obedient to Gods direction.

You will find it!

Money Answers Everything

Ecclesiastes 10:19 NKJV A feast is made for laughter, And wine makes merry; But money answers everything. This can mean that money is needed for bread and wine, and/or that money provides life's needs. Look back to Eccl 7:12 (NIV) for another example of how it is acknowledged that money is needed: Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: that wisdom preserves the life of its possessor. Remember that knowledge is just the beginning of wisdom. True wisdom gives benefits in this life and the life to come.
